    Hello,

My Megane 3 RS uses some oil on a trackday. When just having normal usage it only uses 1L per 15000 km's, but when doing a track afternoon (about 300 km) it uses around 0,5L. Is this normal? I'm using 5W40 oil.

  2. Yes it will be. You will be spending much more time in the higher RPM range than you would on the road. Check underneath for leaks, but the higher the rpm the more pressure on seals and gaskets meaning the oil will find its way into the combustion chamber easier.

    So nothing to worry about?

  4. Check for leaks, and if you can't see any (remember the under tray) then no, its normal. Make sure you top up the oil and check it. If it persists, you might have blown a seal, but thats a might, not you have
