250 Oil change guide

  1. Hello everyone, I'm planning on giving my 250 an oil change this weekend, Now this might be a daft question but as I've never done an oil change before, Is it easy to do? and is there a guide somewhere?. Thanks in advance:smile:

    I presume it's similar set up to the mk2 so you would need to remove the under tray and you will find a square sump plug, open the top oil filler and remove the plug and away you go :smile: change the sump plug washer and oil filter too :smile:
     
  3. If your unsure why not take it to an independent garage and get them to change it for you? Will cost max £30 (that's if they charge as much as £60 an hour) if your supplying your own parts and it saves you having to dump the old oil.
     
  4. My renault did mine for 30mins labour and £7 i think for the filter, call around

    nick - trowbridge are a good bunch, call them and barter?
