Hey guys, I've had a strange smell coming through when the heater has been on, I guessed it might be oil, and I've possibly found the culprit. There's a definite leak form my oil breather hose from the engine to the airbox. There's nothing holding it in place, only the fact that the cable attached is resting on this direction. Should it have a jubilee clip or something attached to it too? The other side of the hose is also leaking, though I cleaned it before taking the photo. Does anyone know the correct size of this hose, and what I should be looking for as a replacement? Any links would be very much appreciated!
Good call! Makes more sense than replacing it. The hose itself is fine other than it's not a tight fit anymore. I'll dig out some clips today and see if I can find one that fits properly.
i have same problem long time ago . Strange smell when i stop on red light . I change same hose and noting . 2 weeks i try to solve problem . I check every hose 3 times . I found problem using soap foam . Lot of it .. Spark plug was loose . local Renault service forget to secure spark plugs . All 4 loose
