   Very weird new problem
   
   When I switch the car on after not using it for a while, the odometer display is blank. The backlight lights up, but no writing. As I drive, the numbers slowly appear, faint at first, until they are at full brightness after approximately 15-20 minutes
   
   Any ideas?

   Check your battery.
   Mine did this just before the battery died.

   Had the battery on charge and it hasn't helped unfortunately
