I want to leave an OBD II Wifi Dongle constantly plugged in and hidden away so I can use apps like dashcommand. Question is, if i buy a 2-way obd-ii connector and connect it to the OEM connector, then tuck away the WiFi dongle and use the other extra one to mount where the original port goes so that it can be used for diagnosing by dealer or CLIP, will that work? or is CLIP sensitive to 2-way obd-ii splitting?
