Hi All, New to the Renaultsport arena, based in Warrington, are there are any specialist garages/mechanics in the North West? I did read Gary Burnett was the go to man, which would have been perfect as Birchwood is 10 minutes from me, but they appear closed permanently. Did Gary go work somewhere else? I've seen Birchdown mentioned, are there any others? Many thanks
I’m North Warrington, so Malpas is not that far!! Engine sounds rough so I’m expecting it’ll need a fair bit of work (posted in the Engine section)!
I got in touch with Birchdown regarding hub bearings knowing you could get the bearings separate. They insisted you couldn’t and told me they could only supply brand new hubs which obviously cost hundreds per side. I haven’t bothered with them since. Gary was spot on, always had time to diagnose something and his prices were good. Was gutted when I heard he had closed. God knows who I would take it to if there was something I couldn’t do myself
