No cranking after accident

  1. My Megane rs250 got into an accident a few months back which I got paid out for damages by the other driver, didn't go through insurance as the damage wasn't too bad, (or so I thought) anyway I've nearly source all the parts needed, rad pack, bumper etc.

put oil into it this morning and recharged the battery, the dash lights up but soon as I try the start button, the dash lights all cut out and I get no cranking what so ever, the radio doesn't even work, heaters do tho, any advice on what to do next, I will check fuses tomorrow, inside fuses are all fine, ain't tested the engine bay fuses .

I've also read there is an impact sensor and fuel cut off in the ecu, is this correct and does anyone know if there is a place in the West Midlands that can reset them, any help would be greatly apprecited.

  2. Is there no fuel cut of switch that u press

  3. Fuel re set can be done via diagnostics obd port with a basic reader.

  4. I might need to buy one, do all scanners give the option to reset the fuel cut off?
