I have nitron R1 suspension at my rs250 cup I order it from second hands and made a full rebuild I have one moment how to preload front springs correctly? I didn't find information about it on the website
To quote "The main purpose for the helper spring is to keep the main spring properly seated against the suspension upper or lower spring seat. i.e. it stops the coilover "clunking" when you are at full droop (ie full extension) Often you find the helper spring is fully compressed after the coilover is fitted and the car is lowered from stock ride height - not a problem from the coilover point of view but be aware that roll centre will likely change (and not in a good way). From my experience/knowledge wrt KW Clubsports on my Trophy, KW specify a minimum and maximum ride height (adjusted by the large nut on coilover) - at maximum I found the helper spring slightly compressed on full droop (ie side of car fully raised and coilover fully extended); and at minimum ride height it was fully compressed. Hope this helps.
I understand it all but nitron has a different design, they are full tap front and the height is not regulated by a spring for this and asked a question about preload just have a look at the photo
