  1. hello everyone...
    My toy is a

Flaming Orange 225 cup + comfy
Climate control ( auto if needed)
Leather recaro with beautiful orange stitching
    6 CD player
multi spoke alloys with drilled discs and brembo's
235/18's ( only available in the 225 Trophy and Cup as ordinary only 225/18's)
Uprated suspension which has a better feel than the standard RS

I was going for a R26 but the only difference is it has a split diff and my interior is more comfy

So that's it and look forward to more discussions

Sorry that sounds a bit to much info but this spec is rare and takes much explaining...Believe me it took a while

  2. Any pictures? The recaros sound interesting

  6. Well guys i have just busted my ankle and so piccies in the garage are not much cop although i will get on it and get somebody to roll it out.
Mine is the 225 with the cup pack + a few extras in the front. i had such a ruddy issue on what it exactly was that i rang head office and they got back with the exact spec. It's the phase 1 cup pack .
I recently thought about trading .it in for a R26 F1 but i really could not feel the difference. The split diff to me is over rated, yes if you track day it will come into play but only if you are an experienced track day man. Both were standard and i really did not feel that extra 5BHP at all , and as those stickers what a taccy looking mod that is. I did try the standard 225 against the pack option though and what a huge difference but from the phase 1 pack option onwards very little. so i have kept my tarted up ph1 cup pack , it also is very similar to the trophy interior with full recaro leather seats and the auto climate control and the six CD player. The best of both worlds in my view. So my few thousand pounds are not going to be added on to a PX on an R26 but have the usual re-map, cat back blah blah blah and i might go for a new set of jets ( not sure on that one)....Hope i have not come across a bit forward on my 2nd post but just telling you what i have got and why and why i have kept it.....What have you guys got

  9. This is how she came before a few changes and here is a busted ankle that's stopping me do more.....[IMG]

  10. Are you the guy on facebook that was going to px it or spend money on it?

  11. Can't remember that one?. I remember somebody thinking of getting a trophy in Orange but found out they were only in Silver...

  12. Naa there was someone going to p/x his orange to get a r26 or spend £3k on his

  13. The 225 with the cup pack and the lux pack is as good as the R26 for everyday use. The only difference is the split diff and only then useful maybe on a track day. It's more about what shape you like. I do think though that the prices of theTrophies are well worth it now.
If i got another renault now i would skip the R26 and go for the latest Megane.

  14. mine has lux and cup pack

  15. I found out that mine has the cup pack with options of xenons and climate control and 6 CD player, that was what was doing my head in as i thought it the same as yours. the colour coridinated wing mirrors through me off the cup too but with the Cup option its basically a 225 so colour co ordinated but with better suspension and dampers etc. The only difference i believe is the LSD between the 225 cup pack and the R26 unless somebody says different ....gjonmat...have you photos of yours

  16. I have the sat nav aswell as the 6cd in turkey at the mo will try and remember in 2wk to put some up

  17. It was me gjonmat i was just pulling your leg mate on the other forum ...Sorry . I drove an R26 and compared with my 225 cup pack i really could not find any difference on the road in handling although i know i will on the track. The guy had it up for £5000 but i thought whats the point in spending all the extra money just because it has a LSD.
Funny enough i saw a trophy and its 500 of 500 and with again all the up rated gubbins and the number have thought more about that than a R26. i recently saw a Civivc Type R which would be nice to complement the 225 and test drove my mates and it really was in the same league and dare i say better low down but was sluggish after 50 .

  18. Ha ok no worries, i am in turkey at the mo and my car is sat on my front for two week hopefully it wont get keyed again!!!!
