  2. Sorry about the size of the pics above but it didn't upload the wording & I don't know what happened to the pics..!

    Hi there, good to meet you all, my name is Kee.

    I'm brand new to the Renault RS scene, been driving Italian cars for my last few motors, this is the first time i've had French motor...!

    I was lucky enough to pick up a near perfect unmolested '12 plate RS250 with a FSH, 32K on the clock & 19's but needing a new cambelt being 6 years old. It had the engine management light/spanner on so had that diagnosed first. The engine management light/spanner was down to an issue with the steering wheel ribbon & the indicator stalk had broken internals so had to be replaced and has now been sorted. I've also had the cambelt kit, water pump & auxiliary belts all done(32,919k) along with a service at a local cambelt specialist as i'm NOT paying the OTT Renault dealership prices.!

    I've been driving her for about a month now, i do like her alot but i'm considering selling her already and getting something a little comfier. She has far far more power than i actually realised, more than i need and with her sat on 19's is also bit of a hard ride for me. This amount of power was great when i was in my 20's but i'm in my early 40's now and maybe i really should have learnt some lessons by now.... Oh well...! I got into motorbikes since i hit 40 and imho the RS really should have an owner that wants to play/mod/remap/track her etc not a miserable old git who rarely goes over 70mph. I get all my adrenaline rushes on the bikes on track nowadays...

    Well i have put up some pics for you all to have a gander at her to see what you think.

    I know what i paid for her & how much i've spent getting the belts sorted etc and was wondering what sort of asking price you think i should be putting her up for and how much i should take for her....

    Cheers all

    Kee

  3. I'm 56 and loving my 265, tracking it really brings these cars to life, okay its not my daily but still do 8-10k a year, i have also fitted BC coilovers that has stiffened up the ride but its worth it, i used to have bikes years ago lots of Suzuki 1100's my last was a Daytona 1200 no more of that for me now.

    GLWTS though :sunglasses::sunglasses:
