Hi guys, really looking forward to owning an RS but preferably under 10k if anyone can point me in the right direction. And any tips/things to look out for when buying a 5-6 year old car. Cheers
Brake discs should of been done by now and are quite pricey Ball joints tend to go around 50-60k these are quite pricey at around £300 Cambelt should be done now Service history as usual And a few thermostats have gone and needed replacing cheap when doing yourself but annoying
Gonna be slim pickings in that bracket, they're still resisting going under 10k. You'll be looking at either high milers and/or bare bones cup spec cars, there's a pretty nice looking yellow cup on PistonHeads just a shade under 10k. Standard seats.
I just got one for not much than your budget with nice spec and low mileage, been looking a long time though! You should be able to find one, great value for money and out the box they're incredibly good to drive As above with stuff to look for but as far as I can work out nothing really major to worry about.
managed to pick one up a few weeks back for 10k, sat nav, xenon viability pack, cup back, 18" cup wheels, auto climate, bluetooth etc with 40k on the clock, dont think i go too bad a deal :O
