Hi everybody. Just bought an 07 blue R26 F1 230 (on April Fools Day!). 53k. £4200. Remapped to 265bhp (so the last owner said). Really good nick inside and out. White wheels! - can't decide if want to keep or not. One minute i love them the next no. Tinted rear windows (will remove not a fan) This is my first performance car and it will be trackday'd occasionally. I'm "down-grading" from a zx6r bike but this car feels wicked fast and is not making me miss the bike too much. So I think I've settled on tyres - yokohamas ado8r seem to be the most recommended. Cant seem to find anyone to fit the cheaper nankang nsr2 near me (suggestions welcome) I was wondering if anyone has owned/driven a standard r26 and a remapped one and would they always choose the remapped one? I'm very new to fast driving and am wondering if 265 might be too much to start. And why does everyone and their uncle want to trafficlight GP now I have the r26? lol
I'm not a fan of those Matt, had that style on my 172 when I bought it..... Sure I saw those on one of the fb pages?
