Newb to the site.

Hi all.
Firstly may I say thanks chaps for telling me you had all moved. I was left all alone on ms.net.

For those who don't know me I'm Lee & I own a megane 225 cup in article blue that is far from how it left the factory. I have a fair bit of knowledge on the Megane that I'm always willing to share. I've been on the renaultsport scene for 5 years although this has been my only renault (apart from the 05 dci 120 that my wife drives about).

Thanks stevie. It's clean on those pics. In reality she is just gathering dust in the garage. I'm debating whether or not to sell & buy a 250 as I have this already built up & balanced ready to go.









spec is.
Bored out to 83mm with cp 250 forged pistons
catcams conrods
acl race bearings
arp rod bolts
helix solid flywheel & paddle clutch.
All balanced & blue printed.

Now if I put this in a 250 then ill have to use the head from the car. However if I keep my 225 then I have 2 spare heads to rebuild. Now until I decide I can't proceed with the rest of the engine build. I also have an Rs tuning exhaust manifold to run a gt turbo sat on the bench.

For those who don't know me my car at present is running around 325bhp & 340ftlb on oem internals & has done for over a year. It has done a few track days & spirited runs with no real issues & has been 100% reliable.

im just undecided as to what to do. I even considered going down the focus Rs route. I'm 99% on a 250 cup but it has to have leather recaros & satnav.

thats what I'm thinking too. The other thing is that the engine will be worth more than my 225 though.
