Ok so I had my front brakes replaced, the garage didn't tighten the bolts, so one of my wheels fell off at a corner. The anger is immense, but I'm trying to focus on what we need to fix the car. I need a brand new r26 wheel - where is the best and cheapest place to get this from? It's clipped and ripped the passenger wing, so I need a new wing too Also I need a bottom ball joint. But apparently Renault UK have none and they have them on back order since august 2015????? Any hel much appreciated, I am gutted, and could really do without the expense, but I just want it to ed properly and back on the road. Garage that fitted my new front brakes thought it was funny, and says you should have checked the wheel bolts. True, but I expect a garage to do it properly - the wheel still attached to the car bolts were finger tight. My daughter was in the car, luckily I was going slow, could have been worse. I know I need to deal with that garage but I also need my car back on the road asap - its my only means of transport and I need to get my daughter to nursery and to work - no train or bus options. I've calmed down over the day, I need to just get it fixed then I'll deal with the ****
Gutted for you mate. I'd be fucking bouncing there heads off the garage walls. You need to seek legal action mate as its there duty of care to make sure your car is fit and safe to drive before it leaves them. Ive got a passenger wing but it's in TEF60 which is the trophy colour so would need painting. Cheers
