New pad all round and brake fluid

  1. I have just been quoted from a Renault dealer that fitting pads all round and new brake fluid would cost me £128.99.... is this right?

  2. Forgot to say for a 2010 RS 250

  3. MMM that sounds like a labour only quote.
The front pads alone are that I though?

I am sure someone else would flag this up. Worth a ring around others to be sure

    Cheers Andy

  4. Front pads are maybe £60-70 oem and I think rear pads are even less by a long margin ( I have some old quotes from Adz but won't put the exact up as I know they change).

Sounds like a reasonable quote really, pretty cheap tbh.

  5. That's what I thought, it seemed too cheap to me so I questioned him again "£128.99 fitted" and he said yes that's the price, so booked it in for next week. If he has got this totally wrong what damage am I looking at?

  6. double post.

  7. Well that's his quote, if he got it wrong it's his fault now imo don't let them go back on it.

  8. yep.. lookers in chelmsford essex changed mine along time ago for a similar price

  9. All I can say is BRILLIANT get in there do not delay.
as my dealer today wanted £125.76 for front pads only and fitting kit £68.90 inc VAT NO FITTING.

    Cheers Andy

  10. Thanks Andy P hopefully they will not change their mind when it's time to pay hey!

  11. to be honst if they change the price play your face, thats the agreed price and you've double checked.

  12. Just a quick update, took the car in today and the price is correct at 128.99 but only for replacing the front pads and fluid change, not for pads all round. They checked the rears and there is at least another year of pad left in them. Thought it was too good to be true but still thought it was quite a good offer even so and got a car wash and vacuum for free.
