Hello just joined and looking for info on the R26 as I want to get one as a daily car. Love the look and heard they handle well and cheaper to run then my current car. I own a B5 RS4 which I've had for 8 years love it but it's not ideal to use every day now. It's running 483bhp and 480lbs/ft of torque. 3" catless downpipes, Milltek catback, Bilstein pss9 coilovers, Brembo brakes, H&R fat arbs, MRc remap. Hopefully will have a R26 by the summer to take to the ring.
Update* still searching for a mint R26 ! Looked at 3 so far and one was stunning but don't think I could of got on with the colour. Might be looking at a blue R26 Monday which is for sale from KTR sales. Update on me RS4 upgraded the intercoolers the other week and made 496ps and 517lbs/ft torque.
Went to KTR sales today and test drove the R26 they are selling. Very tidy motor inside and out but should be for the price. Felt slow to what I'm used to but the brakes feel good and the steering feels good too. I was expecting a very firm ride but feels pretty soft compared to Audi performance cars. (Doesn't bounce all over the place) was a stunning red RS Megane but has been sold to someone on here I believe. salesman said it's just had a new clutch fitted. I gave it the beans and did get the smell of burning clutch ? He said they last about 40k miles ! They seemed very honest about the car and told me about the main common problems that these cars suffer from. Any thoughts ?

Picked up my R26 today from KTR sales ! Very happy with the service they gave me ! Very helpful and honest. Two years warranty too. I've heard mixed reviews about KTR but I feel very confident about them. the R26 feels so so slow compared to what the RS4 feels BUT it's more then twice the power and 517lbs/ft torque ! So will feel that way. Corners really nicely and stable I think it will be a good car
