Hi all just joined your community I have half a meg r26 ,well engine and gearbox in a clio 197 I compete in sprints under asemc and aemc championship. Look forward to chatting to some of you .
I did not do the conversion just forged and rebuilt the engine. So I guess it's standard r26 regulator and rail .No return 630 injectors already fitted and uprated clio pump rated at 400L/hr I fitted it
so just a new regulator for the tank and the 250 fuel rail you will be sorted then, what turbo are you running ???
I know the turbo has to go and I need to do the fuel system 1st then manifold and turbo . I have a mortgage and kids so I want to do the fuel system now as I can still compete with it and later on do the expensive bit
ha ha ha yes they cost more than the cars do It will be an investment as the standard fuel system is a bit flawed, once near the limit number 1 cylinder (Flywheel end) can't get enough fuel, so they run lean and break up the piston
