    Hi,
    I'm Pete I'm from Worksop and I've just bought a 05 burned orange 225 and I love it was tuned by the only 1 previous owner from new, mapped forge recirc, forge actuator, ktr intake with pipercross induction kit, decat full system running 258.6 bhp and 275lb/ft torque sounds mint however was wondering on the map! Was done by rs tuning but hits limiter at 5-5.5k is this normal for their map? And can it be mapped over by another tuner??

    Neah nowt like that was just wondering as 2 friends with similar mods and power can push up the revs a lot higher

    There is a cold limiter built into the system, i think there is a temp sensor that is not the one for the temp gauge, it maybe that that has gone, mine has done it in the past (once) gave it too much boot when cold but when up to temp hits the red line no probs.

    Hi and welcome to the forum.

    As above you might want to start by looking at the thermostat and temp sensor switch as i think these can be the main culprits for early cold limiter.

    Sounds like the car is running well on the mods you have, any plans for boosting the power further?

    Hey Turbo_ric will be looking over that over the weekend and it'll be going on diagnostic to see if theirs any stored codes.

    Will be saving for an updated intercooler and if I come across a bag of cash lyin around then maybe rs250 turbo and 630cc injectors

    250 turbo and 630s are next on my list. Just haven't found that big bag of cash yet.

    It's like the pot at the end of the rainbow in it haha better job required I think but my first port of call is to have my roof wrapped in gloss black carbon.
