  1. Just signed up to the forum so thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Michael and I'm 26, from Ayrshire in Scotland. I've owned many new age hot hatches and older Japanese performance cars.

I'm excited about owning my first Renaultsport and can't wait to pick the car up!

It's a '61' Oyster Grey RS250 Full Fat. It's got the optional leather Recaro's and if I'm right it also had the cup pack (?) as it's got 235 width tyres, red Brembo's with grooved discs.

Once I collect her I'll get better pics but here's a few for now.

    Welcome to the site mate.

Oyster is a lovely colour. Enjoy.

  3. Welcome mate, Lovely looking car.

Looks like it does have the cup pack

  4. Cheers guys. Was holding out for a LY one but OG is really growing on me.

torquenstein, I'm praying it has the Cup Pack with LSD!

  5. Hi mate

Did you get it from Arnold Clark?

I was in Warrington on Sunday and called in to the Renault Arnold Clark garage as I knew they had a Meg 250 for sale, so fancied a test drive.

However on arrival found the Sold sticker on it!

Good luck with the car pal, it truly looks stunning in grey! Was the first grey one I seen in the flesh and has confirmed that a OG Meg 250 cup is my next car!

  6. Welcome my mate lives up your way ! Drives a Missano red B5 RS4. I will be visiting him soon as he raves on about the roads you have up there.

  7. Welcome, nice choice

  8. wms_f1 ... Yes bought from Arnold Clark and the car was in Warrington branch. It's now in Glasgow and slowly making its way to my driveway, should get her Monday lol! So how did the car look close up then? I've not seen it in the flesh yet and I'm curious to see the condition. Sorry I beat you to it though mate!!

Lynchy, some fantastic Twisty roads in Ayrshire. Worth a trip for sure

Cheers for the welcomes, looks like a good forum!

  9. Hi and welcome - good choice you've made there

Get some 'proper' pics up when you've got it, especially the seats mate.

  10. They are so nice in grey but I personally don't like the black wheels much. Which I had the Sat nav etc.

Apart from the wheels on mine and the rarer paintwork but that's about it :worried:

Still it's nice to have parking sensors!

    Does it have the Xenon's.

  11. The seats look epic Xanda, I'll get better pics up asap

Cheers Dubz, the blue is a lovely colour, don't see many at all! I think mine has nav, not sure on xenons. Hoping it does. My only 'must haves' were the Recaro's and the cup pack as I'm hoping for a few track days at some point.

  12. Welcome mate - car looks sweet!

  13. Thanks papps!
