Hi all, I thought I'd say hello after loitering on here for a few weeks. I have picked up a 57 reg LY R26 after coming from a Caterham7 super sport, a couple of Westfield's and an NA VX220. Unfortunately some kid on a motorbike drove into the back of my stationary VX220 just before Christmas and the insurance company wrote if off, but with two kids Of my own, I took the more sensible choice of a car that we can all go out in that is still fun, and I must admit I am quite enjoying the R26. It is liquid yellow with an R26R spoiler that's been mapped to 261 bhp. It was fairly standard looking but already it now has red wheels that not everyone likes, chequer graphics removed and red/silver R26R type graphics (that just say R26) and a Miltec cat back exhaust being fitted on Friday, assuming Renault at Sevenoaks can eventually order the right looms to fix the electric Windows.!! They have given me a Peugeot 10something courtesy car but I' much prefer my Renault back. Got a few more jobs to do such as a new driver arch liner and some fixings as it's probably worn against the tyre at some point due to missing fixings. Already added missing engine cover grommets, got a new key, car mats etc., so it's improving. Deciding whether to fit the Clio 197 side skirts at the moment too. i'll try and add some pics at some point. Regards.

Thanks guys. Shell at Ham Hill us my usual fuelling stop, and yes Snodland is a real place. ) I get the car back tomorrow now that Renault have replaced the window regs and looms, so I'll take some photos and post up.
