Hi Guys and girls Just thought i would say hello, i have recently bought myself a Megane 250 after many years of being in Fords. Previously been a bit of a bore and had a selection of STs. Started in an original Fiesta which was a cracking car but more power was wanted, then moved to a Focus which was a monster but kept throwing its toys out of the pram and spent more time in the shop than it did working. Recently thought i would downgrade to a new Fiesta ST which was a perfectly good car but not special enough and i got bored of hearing how many were going missing and bored of people trying to race me in it so thought i would try a megane after my mate had one and it was faultless. I went to look at a couple locally to me in Manchester but then got wind of a White Lux in Cornwall with all of the options i wanted. Cup pack, xenons, heated seats for the mrs and running K-tec stage 1 map with supporting bits (mixed opinions on here i know but so far the car is running well but i am sure i will be hunting more power somewhere down the line and a trip to RS tuning will probably happen). A 300 mile drive later and i was down in Cornwall for 9 in the morning having a brew with a genuine nice guy who i spent the next few hours with discussing what the car was, had done to it and checking everything over. I was happy with the car and a deal was done, the next problem was picking the bugger up. A train journey down south and being picked up resulted in me driving back with my new car two days later. A cracking day out, a trip through cheddar gorge on my way back confirmed i had made the right decision. Absolutely loving the car so far. I will be doing some jobs on the car in the coming weeks and will be throwing up some guides on brake changes and plug change (already done) to help people out. I am by no way a professional mechanic but having built mini engines and bikes up over the years i am not afraid of fixing faults myself. The new beast in Cheddar Gorge, even in the rain it is a lovely place to be
