Hi guys, new owner from North Devon here. Only had the car for a few months but loving it so far. Got some decent tyres and brakes on the way for it already (currently the car is on some interesting Delinte DH2 tyres ) Some pics i took of her:
Looks good that. I wasn't keen on the facelift at first, but it's growing on me a lot. Like them in white especially.
Yeah it's a funny one. When it first came out, I was really not a fan. I thought it looked a bit mismatched, as the rest of the exterior hadn't really changed. However, now I have seen a few more of them, it's grown on me a lot, to the point that, when I get another Megane (hopefully within a couple of years - Mondeo ownership is boring me already!) I will probably get a facelift instead. The new front makes the car look wider somehow, which I like a lot.
I'm thinking of doing a tour of all the supermarkets finishing off the creme de la creme - Iceland loading bay...
Nice shots, Really do love the facelift now. Lowered with some better fitting wheels they look so much more aggressive than the prefacelift cars.
Already got some JDM wheels that arrived today. Fitting and lowering will have to wait until Spa & Nür are done in august.
Jamies your man for tyres/wheels/suspension advice Tim. He has extensive track work with various set ups,so will be the most qualified to offer advice.
They are 18" 8.5" Wide 114.3x5 in ET51. They'll be showy/daily wheels where as I stick with OEM for track.
pics? They will certainly be sitting out flush with the arches. 16mm offset difference. Might look a little awkward before you lower it.
Cheers guys. Looking forward to getting them on the scales. Didn’t know Autohaus Fahrbach ran these too. They look pretty nice in the red too (will be sticking with Black for these). [emoji108]
