Hi everyone, I am now the proud owner of a black 63 plate 265 with the cup chassis, recaros and RS monitor. I am very impressed with the general performance and handling. My daily driver has been a tuned VX220 turbo that I am now planning to keep for the warm weather and track days! The weather has been terrible so no pictures yet. I will try and post something up as soon as possible. Any meets in the Essex area? It would be great to meet up with some like minded owners! Thanks Rich (Ric218)

Not me, only had it two days. There is one that turns my head occasionally on the way home, they really look superb on the road, one of the reasons I went for it in the end! Your right about them being different propositions, but equally exciting in their own right. I am really enjoying the best of both worlds situation that I have going on at the moment is your friend on the VX forum? If so, there is a a good chance I have met him. Thanks for the welcome! Rich
Hi Rich, not much happens club wise in Essex at the moment but the clubs relatively new and I'm sure once an area rep structure is in place we'll get some meets organised.

Do you ever go on the a120 coggeshall area? I often see a black 265 coming back from work. I have a white 250.

Arcticmonkey, yes I remember. He has a supercharged red VX and was kind enough to take me out in it once for comparison purposes. A very nice guy. Xanda, great idea. I will definitely do that. I am away this weekend so hopefully some time next week. Once again, thanks for all the friendly welcomes!

Welcome ! I'm not far from colchester in earls Colne . I always see that black one on the a120 its a 250 plate has joe on it , there are very few around here !!
