  1. Hi everyone. I had a Clio 182 for just under ten years before my wife gave birth to my first child in 2015, meaning I had to get something that could fit the pram in.

I went full Dad mode and bought a Volvo V50 R-Design Sport at the beginning of 2016. Whilst it was a lovely car it didn't float my boat. I missed the Clio majorly, so I opted for a Megane 225 in summer 2016, which I figured was probably the best of both worlds.

Not done anything to it yet except upgrade the stereo to a cheapy touchscreen jobby. I have Cooksport springs ready to go on, new tyres ordered, as well as a general service planned ASAP. In future I'm probably looking to refurbish the dreadfully kerbed wheels (to anthracite), change front discs/pads and source an R26R spoiler from somewhere. Oh, and a decent exhaust, I miss the K-Tec Supersport from the Clio! Any recommendations?

  2. Hi and welcome along.

Plans sound sensible. Back box chop may be what you're looking for with the exhaust. Have a search on here, there's loads of threads on the subject. It may still be too quite coming from 10 year in Clio though.

    Was the Volvo that boring?

  3. The Volvo was a good car tbh, just I am a bit of a child and missed the acceleration from the Clio.

In terms of exhaust, I'm not looking for loud all the time - the K-Tec Supersport was the best of both worlds, it was quiet around town and sporty when giving it the beans.
