  2. Hi and welcome - 172 looks great there.

R26 is a brilliant car, but buy a good one otherwise it will bankrupt you :fearscream:

  3. Welcome along. 172 looks great on track. Liked my brother's 182. Hope you find a nice R26 soon.

  4. Cheers guys [emoji106] I don't know whether to start a new topic. But what do I need to look for other than the NDO-0100 gearbox number and the checking the steering self centres itself (hubs)

  5. Timing belt & water pump done, front suspension components & drive shafts, electric windows, water soaked in floor, discs & pads, engine/box/exhaust mounts, service history, tyres, steering rack.

Everything is double the price of Clio parts.

  6. Nice 172! Welcome to the forum, R26 is a great car I'd just try and find a low mileage one with fsh and timingbelt/waterpump recently done

  7. Yeah as above, a well looked after one is worth the extra money. If belts are due soon then try and knock £500 or so off the price or meet half way. Brakes aren't horribly expensive if you shop around. A decent set of tyres will set you back £5-600. They can idle a bit lumpy but anything excessive is probably injectors on the way out. Just look around and be sensible and you'll find a good one
