I'm freshening up my interior a bit and quite fancy a new knob (!) What have people fitted in their mk2's ? I've seen brand new ones on eBay but I'm torn between that or a silver Renaultsport one or even something retrimmed.

Would probably fit but like you said it wouldn’t be right and not that different to stock so why bother?
Don't mind brand new std as it'll match the retrimmed steering wheel. Do you have any photos of your silver one?

For anyone that wants one, you can get the 5-speed version and cut the rubber down so it fits. Did that with mine, doesn't matter since there's no gear numbering.
Or get hold of a ph1 225 knob and do this This is my mates I'll post a picture up of mine over the weekend. Just awaiting the insert
