lmao if Renaultsport wants to compete? They've been kings in the hot hatch market for ten years, if you want to talk to your mates down the pub about power figures then so be it this has to be one of the worst comments I've seen on a car forum in a long time haha
A variation on haldex of sorts from what I've bothered to read so far but where there are two multiplate clutch(s) on the outputs to the rear wheels so you could in theory cut all drive to one wheel and push 70% to the other (as only 70% goes to the rears). It sounds complicated but a lot better than anything VAG have done.
+1. It's always been about whether or not a new car can compete with RenaultSport. RS is the absolute benchmark.. no one's done it yet
Totally agree. The last RS was visually something. Like it or not. Personally I liked it and if they were cheaper I would have one over the 250. The new one looks really tame in comparison, no doubt to make it a top seller and not be so divisive. And who can blame them? Money rules, especially in today's market. By all accounts the bean counters wanted it to look even tamer than it does!
It's a shame. Ford should leave the boring German super hatch look to the Germans. I pray RenaultSport keep making visually inspiring cars
I would, however the way they keep developing the Megane keeps my hopes high At least the new Clio RS looks like a 3 door
Oh yeah, I absolutely agree, with both your points. Next car for me will have to be something other than a hot hatch for this reason.
