New f1 230 R26 owner

  1. Hi guys
been a member of the site a couple of weeks but after weeks of searching picked up my black f1 230 on Saturday.

first impressions are good! Been looking at these for some time but always went for another Subaru Impreza ( force of habit). Quality a lot better than I anticipated! Cracking motor

I have noticed car tramlines on white lines etc but think wheel alignment may be out. Has anyone else experienced this?

  2. Welcome, i think it is alligment

Probably just alignment. BUT it could be hub bearings.

Does the steering wheel self centre?

  4. Hi, welcome Stu.

Tyres can make a difference to that. How are yours worn/make etc.?

  5. Took car in for alignment and this was out. Whilst at garage they discovered a worn tie rod on steering so both replaced and alignment carried out and it's all good

  6. Had car checked out and it was an alignment / worn tie rod issue car all sorted cheers

  7. Sorry to all for late response but been working like mad
the tyres on the car are x4 vredestein and are all good with plenty of tread

  8. Good, glad you got it all sorted mate.

really sorry for the delay in replying not had 2 spare minutes with work and Christmas prep.
I live in kirk sandall. I use a garage just off Wheatley hall road called DS Automotive. Dave guy who owns it is a really top bloke and is very knowledgeable. I have used him for best part of 17 years and won't go anywhere else.
    Whereabouts are you from?

I know Dave, with his piss yellow M3 haha. I used to work for ECP so dealt with him there.
You're fairly local to me, I'm only Branton.
