About the red pin stripe, does anyone have problems with them getting white"ish" when raining? Im about to change my decals on Monday at my local dealer. just wanted to ask if i am the only one with that problem, or if it is a common problem and i can count on get the same problem again in a couple of months? they also are a bit sticky, they tend to suck up all the dirt that is in any kind of contact with them hehe. And for the Ontopic, the F1 decals is really nice
Looks good, i like your wheels too. I always think the 19" wheels looked a bit naff [cue barrage of insults], but thats only my opinion of course.
Yeah, I've had it....the whitish specks come and go when the car dries off....it's bizarre!! Nothing much you can do about that I'm afraid. As for the stickyness...believe it or not but some of the Red Packs come without the overlay protection being peeled off....it's very transparent and difficult to see but that's what it is. I had this and the Renault Technician peeled a part of it off but had to take the car in to to it properly as the sticky residue from the overlay had to be removed properly....if that makes any sense?? Was perfect after that!! :-)) Good luck...
yea okay, so it is just bad quality from Renault hehe got to hope that they have changed the material now really, gotta try that! so you saying that the overlay protection is whats makes it sticky? thanks!
Yeah....if it's left on long enough it just starts to wear and then the glue type stuff starts attracting dirt and residue until peeled off properly and the rest of the glue removed. I know it seems bizarre but that's what happened and mines been perfect ever since.
Now my decals are changed on the car and I can say that they are not the same sort as the car had at delivery, I think that they have changed the material due to many complains or something so thumbs up to Renault!
Excellent...that's good to know. They must be pi55ed off having to replace so many. Would love to have the same on the side as the new Clio....solve all the problems!
Yeah....I think it is or chrome....if it was a similar size I'd have a go at putting them on but think they may fall short a bit. Have you seen the red pack on the new face lift model?.....red mouldings on the side and red spoiler too!
Yea i have seen it, but i dont think i like it. I think it looks to much, it might look better irl have also heard no xenon in UK on the facelift, really boring looks much better with the blueish Light. should be standard in sweden i have been told by the Renault salesman i bought my car from.
I have some pics on the decals Before and After.. This is what the first ones looked like: As you can see it is almost like sandpaper hehe. And this is the new ones: It is a big difference, the new ones are shiny and not sticky at all And the most important.... They are red and not Bl**dy grey haha
