New 250 Cup owner in Scotland

  1. Hello all,

Thought i would say hello as i have been browsing the forum since i got the car in November.

She is a 2010 RS 250 Cup in pretty much standard form less the addition of a cat back non-res Scorpion exhaust, H&R lowering springs and an KTR panel filter. The car is in cracking condition and only has 35k on the clock.

When i first took ownership of her back in November, i had the timing belt, dephaser pulley and fluids replaced at Rentec in Edinburgh and the geometrey done at Clark Motorsport in Aberdeen.

Last month i had all the discs replaced with OEM, changed front pads to PF-Z rated, fitted Mr Pink Pins, changed the rear pads to DS2500, replaced the brake hoses to braided ones and changed the fluid. I also had a pure motorsport stud conversion kit fitted aswell.

I'm doing a few track days at Knockhill over the next few months so the car is pretty much ready for it now less a set of track wheels with some decent rubber....If anyone knows a set of 18" cup wheels for sale in decent condition, please let me know as i'm after a set.

Future plans....might look at fitting a decat, FMIC and getting it remapped at Ecotune in Glasgow over the next few months but other than that, just enjoy the trackdays as its serious capable in current form.

  2. Looks great mate. How much did the H&R springs drop her by? Any noticeable difference in ride/handling or on there when you got it?

  3. The H&Rs were on the car when i bought it so not totally sure but i have read they are suppose to drop it around 30mm.

  4. I've had my 220 Estste (same engine as yours) mapped by Ecotune. Great guys and pushing a nice 307 bhp without any other modifications

  5. Beautiful. I've always been a fan of the cups with yellow belts and recaros. Simple but awesome combination. Looking good my man![emoji41][emoji1306]
