It was a cold saturday morning i awoke at 5am ready to get a train from leicester to newcastle to pick up my new stalion. Wanted one since i went nurburgring in 2011 and saw heard and got owned by them!! Anyway started the drive back to leicester around 12 pm first feelings were that it felt powerfull!!! Coming from a vectra diesel what do u expect lol! Unfortunately the gremlins that i am aware off passenger window dont go all the way down. And am sure the injectors are playing up ... The exhausts are coughing .... Hopefully all will be covered by the RAC warentee lol!! Other than that its a brilliant car !! Am on my phone so carnt really add pictures unless theres a way am ash btw
Welcome Ash, that's sucky, try sticking some full system cleaner in with a full tank of premium fuel to try and clear the injector, I'd suggest BG44k, you can pick it up on eBay for under £15, one of the best around. As for the window, I don't know how RAC warranty works but I know my AA would cover it on the silver membership, best give them a ring and she what you're covered for.
You used BG44 much Browny ? Never heard of it before, lots of good reviews out there... Just bought myself a can - figured worth a bash !
Skint till thursday now ave spent £100 on premium fuel today! My guess is theres sticky injectors as car had been sat on forecourt for a few weeks/month just as i got on m1 near leeds the EML flashed up but went straight back of again so dunno if thats got owt to do with it. I knew before i bought the car how fickle they can be... I dont dare clean it incase of water ingress getting around the fuse box :/
Hey mate, fantastic stuff. Someone on here recommended it to me and after a few days my exhaust was black with the crap it kicked out. Good buy sir, give your exhaust a clean before you stick it in and you'll be presently supprised at its work ! Let me know what you think in a week
I've seen some posts re: Kwik Fit too mate... gotta be worth a go. Certainly cheaper than doing the injectors if it does the trick
Anotjer wuestion is there any preventative measures i can take to ease of the chance of any of the megane fuckle fuckeries croping up. Such as water ingress in the floor and door pockets , water taking out the fuse box , window regs etc! Pictures or threads would be great
