Hi everyone, Just came back from Silverstone the other day. Had a scary problem with the steering on a couple of occasions on track. As I was into a high speed corner, the steering went hard on me momentarily which of course through me off and made me go straight instead! Thankfully there was a run off areas and had no issues. At the same time I think I may have also kind of felt the brakes go a bit stiff as well although as it happened so quickly I wasn't sure. I had no lights or other warning indicators come up. Steering power came back moments later and it was as if nothing had happened. Went out again shortly afterwards and it did it again! But once again it recovered moments later although the second time I was certain it mainly the steering wheel assistance that went off. But again no warning lights. So question. What would this be? Is it an EPS problem that I have read about?? Also read about possible ESP issue as well as this can affect steering and brakes from what I gather although not 100% sure. Earlier in the day I did have a ESP spanner and fault indicator come on(without any obvious problem felt though) although when car was restarted the light went away and never came back. Thoughts anyone?? Cheers

I have similar problem . No warning lights on Short fail . In next 10 days again( but this time he really stopped working) and turn on service light and massage Sterling fault . Lost some time to check cables and voltage . Contact on the main fuse in the engine compartment was a reason.
HI.. I had problems with my steering when going straight was pulling left or right, and when turning Right steering would feel Light And when turning Left steering would feel Heavy, checked with Autel MD808 diagnostic scanner Re-calibrate steering angle sensor, all steering problems gone..
