Hi guys and girls, this is my first post so go easy, im trading my fiesta st180 in for a megane soon but need help on what i should look for, any recalls, does the LUX come with the cup chassis etc. Basically i don't know a lot about renault ...out all ...as this will be my first one. Anywhere good to look at finiding one ?? and if anyone got one for sale please message me. thanks in advances
Welcome Howard, which part of the country are you in? Plenty of info on here, depends on what you want from the car really, as a suggestion, try looking for the following, recaros drls cup chassis speak to renaultsport specialist either main dealer or someone like ktec racing. good luck hunting
Cup chassis and recaros is what I wanted but couldn't find one cheap enough so ended up settling for one without recaros but the normal sport seats aren't that bad to be honest they're a lot more supportive than your average car seat.
I'd disagree about Recaros. They are great for track work etc but the standard seats are very good and better for day to day driving.
They are perfectly fine for day to day driving and surprisingly comfy for long journeys. I can't comment on them being any better than the standard seats other than they look so much better! The standard seats a pretty hideous.
does anyone know what the LUX come with the cup chassis?? The one with the recaros are more price but you could always but them in if the car didnt come with them
It is very hard to find the right spec but it pays to be patient and wait for the right one. If it was me I would go for recaros cup chassis I personally want the Xenons aswell but they are extremely hard to find on these cars I found but good luck with your search KTR car sales would be your best bet tell them the spec your after and keep an eye on auto trader
Cup with Recaros was a must for me as well. Xenons would have been nice, especially as my last car had them, but I decided that I could live without them. Wait for spec that you like.
I could be tempted to part with my megane 265 trophy for the right money. 28k miles recaros cup xenons liquid yellow not really sure what it's worth being 1 of 50 and the current market.
It took me 6 months to find my 250 liquid yellow cup with recaros but worth the wait had it remapped soon after buying and happy with the resulting 309 bhp
Well I haven't fully decided to put mine up for sale. Mileage will be going up for me so haven't yet worked out whether I want to keep the megane or not. Also having no idea what it's worth as the current market seems massively varied. Anyone any ideas?
Shortly after xmas I will be selling my red RS250. Its the full fat version complete with cup chassis and leather recaros. Also has the visibility pack which includes xenons that swivel with the steering and LED drl's. It also has the all important renaultsport monitor too. And a full size emergency spare wheel.
