Just wondering anyone with decat and back box chop have any bother with trackday noise limits? mine is decat then going for side exit so will be same as decat and back box chop. cheers r26 track build
Make sure it exits on the O/S of the car as the drive by microphones are always on the outside of the track. Old trick of the trade
Haha that's a good bit of advice right there. Unfortunately it's a lot easier to exit on the n/s. Im using a spare ktec 3" exhaust tip as the exit and just going to cut the original back box out and weld the 3" tip in exiting just in front of the n/s rear wheel. Hopefully will be under that bastard 105db.
Will look into putting in a small silencer just after the centre box see if I can fit something in. Should still be a big weight saving removing that standard back box
