This was recently pulled from you tube after a friend pointed me in its direction. Glad to say it's back up so in case you haven't seen it, make a cuppa and enjoy a few minutes of epic knobness. http://www.carthrottle.com/this-nis...driving-will-put-you-off-track-days-for-life/
He is driving like an utter bollock and only something like a GTR would let him get away with it. However, what's wrong with overtaking in a braking zone as long as it's done before the peel in point?? If you didn't do that how would you ever overtake something if you were in a relatively low powered car?
Love the elbow technique through every corner. You should try that one Steve and you Martin on your next outing.
Utterly disgusting driving for a trackday, just because you have a fast fancy car does not give you more right to the track space. Whats even worse is that the organisers allowed this to go on for so long, he should have been thrown off immediately.
I know it's pretty shocking. I managed to find the thread on gtr owners thread, makes for fun reading, I'll try and dig it out.
Well I've allways been led to beleive that if you've got an R then you have much more right than anyone else and 1st dibs to the corner lol, hang on that may just be me
Found it, the driver and his mates get some abuse, rightly so. And the McLaren owner also makes an appearance. Good read, made Monday more entertaining at work. Drivers were fine Chris no one was hurt. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/304793-r35-bedford-parody.html
Well that wasted a good 20 minutes but interesting none the less, good to see the McLaren driver chime in and the general consensus from the other witness is that the GTR driver, fat lardy kebab eater or not drove like a complete a-hole. I'm not quite up to his weighty density but only a toddler or two off and I've never needed to brace myself like that and I've been on a fair few track days with people slightly to much slower into and around corners than me and never even contemplated sticking the nose of my car up their inside....
