I took my car for an MOT a few weeks back (2006 megane 225). After leaving the MOT place my abs and esp lights came on. Because I was in a rush to get to work I couldn't go back to the garage so carried on. Fast forward a week and I get my head under the car and plug the loose cable into a hole that looks like it was made for the cable. Light still on. Cable looks frayed. Took it to the garage and he replaced the sensor. He called it a wheel speed sensor? Anyway the lights went off but when I set off to leave the garage and pressed the brakes, it felt like the abs was working? Obviously impossible to drive. Unplugged the cable and it's back to normal again but the abs and esp lights are on. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Just paid 430 quid for repairs and feel like driving the thing into a canal.
