Looking at the edition 30 model with dsg box etc

  2. My mate has this...

306bhp ATW, KW coilovers, Tarox 6 Pots etc etc. Lovely car and can definitely tell the difference in build quality. Still prefer my meg though haha.

  3. What's that thing obscuring the view of a fine Meg? Actually looks good for a vag....bet it goes n stops well too with that spec.

  4. Awesome cars my mate has one with 380 bhp, murders RS4s

  5. When i've driven it, it definitely feels faster. Its made me want stage 2 on my meg haha.

Every time I've driven it though we always almost go flying through the windscreen because my left leg feels lazy and I end up left foot braking lol.

They do look nice - interiors a lovely place to be.

  9. Very fast in a straight line, they feel like you engaged a rocket booster with the dsg as its just a wall of acceleration.

Interior being miles ahead of the meg is main reason for the change.

I would get a cheap 172 cup to arse around in on weekends.

  11. Wouldnt say that was the case compared to the 250 though tbh, my brothers is full of rattles and often in bits trying to get rid of them :tongueout:

My bets mate has a mk7 golf and every time I get it in it I question why I've but up with cheap rattly interiors for so long!

Yup wasted trip down the 303.. Search goes on

  17. Because it's a fallacy that they don't rattle, and they don't handle as well or have the same dynamic as either the mk2 or mk3?

Don't know how bad mk2's are for it but the only things that rattle in my 250 are the crap I put it in it.

  18. And the Crap parcel shelf!

I agree that got a bit tedious. I could imagine it being pretty hard to find words driving something like that for the first time though.

The 250s are newer though. My Meganes rattles are getting worse with age.

  20. Depending on budget, why not go for a 35 edition?

    Eh?

    My mate has a 1.6 diesel MK7 - no-one mentioned a GTI

And I also didn't mention a Megane at all - I was merely stating I've had some rattle boxes in the past.
