MK4 RS in Ireland testing..

  1. I'm spending the week in Northern Ireland with herself and today we're driving the Causeway Coastal route west to east and met a French reg MK4 Megane with Camo coming against us at pace.

For anyone in Ireland, check out the route, epic driving route that lasts a good 2 hours I'd say. Links Derry and Belfast on a coastal route.

Didn't get much of a look at the car as I was pretty on it going against it....

Any Irish members, keep an eye out!

Maybe they can enter it in the Donegal international rally, starts tomorrow.

We would love to do that route by the way, been to every county in Ireland but never driven that road.

  3. Must keep an eye out although I do live in Belfast so not on the scenic Causeway Coastal route!

    Enjoy your stay!

  4. Loving our trip up North. Was in Belfast 2 nights ago and staying in Down now till we head back south and hit the east coats before rocking home.

I'd recommend the North as a holiday destination to anyone (if you cod guarantee weather )

  5. You've certainly got the best of our summer today, hopefully tomorrow will be similar. Where abouts are you staying in Down? If you're down the Ards peninsula there's a track day at Kirkistown tomorrow, usually some interesting stuff at it if you fancied it!

  6. In Kilkeel and heading for Wicklow early in the morning. Didn't even think of checking what's on in Kirkistown.

Must say, really impressed with the caliber of cars around all over. Certainly more interesting is seeing a load of 3 series diesels and the like in the South. Some amount of relatively new M cars and plenty AMG stuff too. Amazing the differences across the border
