I have just bought some Sabelt 6 - point harness and I am trying to figure out how to fit them to the Meg. Any help would be appreciated
There are many options. Firstly... Shoulder straps Do you have a rear cage? Wrap around harness bar if so. If not, eye bolts to the 4x points found in the rear seat wel is the easiest. Lap belts 1 side of lap belt fitted to the gearbox tunnel with welded plate or sandwich plate on the under side. The other side you can use the existing 3 point seatbelt base anchor point with eyebolt. Anti-sub belts Ideally again, welded plate or sandwich plate on the underside of the floorpan with eyebolt attached. This would be directly under the seat.
Ditch the crotch and just run them as 4 points, 6 are an utter pain in the arse on the road. Should be easy enough to swap the buckle if its on the anti sub belts onto the lap
