I'm struggling to get any info on the wire conversion so I can run the mk3 throttle body on my mk2 ecu. I can easily fit the mk2 throttle body to the mk3 inlet manifind but seeing as it's a fair bit smaller I was wondering at what power will it be a restriction for future if I decide to go forhe'd and 400 bhp. What power have people had using the mk2 throttle body.
I'm fairly sure Paul at rs tuning had at least 450bhp (possibly more) out of it on an old demo r26r Sent from my HTC Desire EYE using Tapatalk
Yeah I found a few cars with more power than I will be looking at so decided to stop wasting my time looking for the wiring diagrams and get the angle grinder out. Only took about an hour including a coffee bread. Marked it all up cut out the bits that was in the way and voila. Drilled two holes (managed to use one of the existing holes) and threaded them. All done. Bit of tidying up and paint and it will look perfect.
