Mk2 rear strut bar.....

A lad called Chris slater is/was selling them on the FB groups. £80 posted I think

 

Or just had a look myself, these look ok. might get one myself. Anyone tried these?

It's cheap because you need to drill holes to fit it....

 

So which ones can you buy that don't need drilling and you can retain the rear seats? Apart from KTEC's £183 (yes, £183!!!!!!) one.

Spoke to Chris last night, his are alloy, don't need drilling, retain rear seats and come in silver. might just get one of his.

 

A lad on here used to make them as an exact replica of the Ktec ones IIRC. Steve I think it was. He could do either Black or Red powder coated and they were £100 posted I think. May have to do some digging. These retained the rear seats.

I've one of these in mine. Think it was £70 non costed but this was around 2 years ago

Mine still fit in too I just don't have them in. It mounts behind the locking point for the seats

I'll get a pic tomorrow mate of where it mounts. It's gutted at moment I was welding some plates in today for harness eyelets but I'll show where it mounts etc. Mine might be up for grabs as I'm going half cage
