Managed to get a last min slot tomorrow to get my coilovers set up..... The garage need a spec sheet from someone else who has BC's on their Mk2 - camber, castor, toe, front and back .....can anyone help me out with this? Cheers, Papps
Mines currently set at Ride hieght depends where measure mine was on lowest part of subframe and rear beam mount front 115mm rear 160mm castor wasnt adjustible so wasn't measured camber FR=-2.5 maxed out top mount FL=-2.5 maxed out again.. RR=-1.5 non adjustible on 225 so it's as it comes RL=-1 same as above think my beams taken a hit of some kind tracking Front = 0 degrees (depends what u want to use it for) little tow out turns in very well but with a very light rear be careful Rear = -0.5 degrees just measurement as non adjustible weights with driver (big lump) need some work done here for equal corners FL =390kg FR =469 kg RL =236kg RR =217kg front = 860 65.5% rear = 453 34.5% hope this helps josh
Thanks a lot Josh - thats a MASSIVE help mate, thanks for taking the time to put this together, really appreciate it. Tracking: Mainly spirited road useage, hopefully get 3 or 4 track sessions in before winter and then hopefully 5 or 6 a year next year: I don't like a light rear end really, should will 0 degrees do the job you reckon?
0 is good.. get the camber to as much as it can for the track use...some people have had -3 out of the bc's but mine didn't gonna look at getting some more out of them soon..
Didn't think of that as there's the hole that lines up with the old locating pin.. I'll try it and get the old pumbob camber gauge out and see the difference
