Funny how quickly stuff like this gets sorted once it becomes public....

  2. Good luck

  3. sure are..... im one of the admins on there , glad its getting sorted. if its now, let me know

  4. Yup its all sorted!

  5. Firstly I would like to formally apologise to Dan for the delay in getting his calipers sorted and sent out to him. They arrived in a pretty bad state to which we advised shot blasting would be the best bet so would take a little longer than expected, which was fine at the time, then they were genuinely in a unit which we were locked out of (last weekend) but recovered on Monday this morning. Where we have failed is in our communication with Dan during the past week which unfortunately resulted in a wasted 120 mile round trip for him last Friday, which we will of course cover the costs of.

We have taken on a new contract recently which ends in a couple of weeks which has taken me out of the business for a few weeks and resulted in poor comms. I have literally just set up a call handling service in the short term to ensure every call gets answered moving forward (nobody likes a phone that just rings out) and we can call anyone back within day.

Dan, given the starting condition of your calipers I think you'll be very pleased (and relieved) with them and it was good to talk to you on the phone. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

It truly amazes me that after 3 years you still continue to bring this up, it really does - moaning to everyone you meet about me. So if my memory serves me correctly you spent the entire day watching over me whilst your car was detailed and spent half of that time moaning about not really being able to afford it as you had a baby on the way. You paid £150 for an 'Enhancement Detail' and you had to leave at a certain time - nobody is a) going to do a full correction detail for £150 or b) do a full correction detail in 8 hours, with the owner watching over you. You 'claimed' that we 'dented' your roof by machine polishing it and it flexing - anyone who has ever polished a Mk2 Megane will know how much it flexes when a machine is passed over it and how its impossible for this to cause a sharp dent. You also insisted on polishing the bonnet yourself, and went on to moan about the polishing on the bonnet. A few days after the detail you essentially suggested to me that I needed to refund you £75 or this would be 'all over the forums'. Looking back now I should have told you where to go as I know we did nothing wrong, but stupidly I refunded you and would have thought that was the end of it but even now you're still feeling the need to bring it up and even try and slag me off to my friends and colleagues, who of course tell me.

The most bizarre part of this little episode, is understanding exactly why after we've done such a shockingly bad job on your car and 'damaged it' you then went on to ask us for a quote to wrap your car last year? If we are so terrible, why would you trust your car in our care again? Clearly after being burnt once I wasn't going to touch your car or deal with you ever again. It looks like my buddy Paul did a great job at PW Pro, so that all worked out well.

Oh and who did you book your wheel refurb through last year? Do tell everyone... Yes, that was us too, the people who terrorised your car.

It would have been a lot easier to haggle me down to detail it for £75. It would have saved a lot of wasted energy.

The plethora of Facebook inbox messages I received tonight highlighted this issue to me, which I wasn't aware was as severe as it was but I've just got off the phone to Dan who's in Switzerland and sorted it out the second I was aware it was an issue. Clearly we have some internal comms issues which I'll address tomorrow and will be sorted going forward.

  6. You have a lot of issues, I didn't say I was going to put it all over the forums and I never did.

your mate who was uninsured did dent my roof thanks which I didnt take further.

And the wheel refurb was done by a 3rd party who also done a shocking job on them.

  7. If someone mentions you or your company and make comments and then get asked what happened I'm not going to lie

  8. As for all of the 'horror stories' to my knowledge from the 1000+ customers we have dealt with over the past few years there are only three examples of people who weren't very happy:

    - Mr R26 'Roof Dent' above

    - A Bentley Continental customers who booked in for a £350 Enhancement Detail with Swissvax last year went on to wash his car the following week with a 100% cotton VEST from Tesco. He was keen to point out that it was a brand new one. Being a far cry from a wash mitt softness wise, this VEST went on to inflict plenty of fresh defects in his previously 95% perfect paintwork. He came back to us to show us his paint in the Sun and wanted us to detail it again for him for free because we didn't tell him not to use a vest. He went as far as to try and reclaim the money from his credit card company who sided with us and he got nowhere.

    - A blue Audi A4 which was treated to a £300 Enhancement Detail which is designed to remove most swirl marks and restore the gloss and lustre to paintwork. 4 months after we had detailed it he wasn't very happy about the fact that during the process we didn't remove his Audi rear badge to remove the swirl marks underneath it and that his wax had deteriorated and it had some light swirling. We agreed to take it back in and take a look at his concerns - this is a 120,000 mile, 11 year old car. Again it left happy but then another 3 months on a few more swirls marks 'reappeared' (or maybe they might be new ones?? Just a thought...) and we took it back AGAIN to look at it for him and it left in a PERFECT condition. Then last week (a further 9 months on) he has taken it into my mates bodyshop for some work and he's STILL moaning about swirl marks, this is a year on. Some people probably shouldn't get their car detailed unless they want to never wash it or put it into a bubble.

I'm sure all businesses are difficult to run and every business has issues but we do get some very special cases in our industry.

I am also sure there are other people who haven't been 100% happy or expectations haven't been lived up to but if we don't know about it then we can't fix it.

  9. I have only mentioned this to pw pro so you have dropped him in it then

  10. Their quality has gone downhill so we have stopped using them now and do them ourselves and they're perfect. Yours was one of the last sets.

I am sorry but there is no way he dented your roof, it's just not possible unless you drop a machine on the roof, which you know full well he didn't do.

I really am not going to argue it out with you any further, but if the damage was real then you wouldn't have wanted us to wrap your car would you? That makes no sense.

  11. Tens of people have told me the same. Dropped him in what? He's my mate, he's going to tell me if someone is slagging me off.

  12. Oh and Alex @ elite sorry

Glad to see with have so many friends in common then although I don't know your best buddy who you fucked over above

  13. Tbf after speaking to Russ on the phone I've got no issues going there to get stuff done.

  14. I didn't slag you off. I said I had issues and told him what happened.

  15. Daz

    Daz

Why the actual fook would you use a vest to wash a car?

  16. Lol a vest must of been an old boy

  17. so you can read and reply to these messages but not dan's and mark them down as spam? So you knew on many occasions he was trying to get in contact with you on insta, FB and whatever else.

your happy to blank your customers as long as they don't highlight the issues on social media and forums?

The reason I'm still ranting is your trying to make out I'm the bad guy, well I'm not you are. So only 3 unhappy people huh? That's a lie you need to wake up mate and don't take so much work on and do a better job for the customers you book in.

and if you want ago into the little details of my day with you, standing around quite a bit and chatting to your mate Tom was it? about girls you was gonna bang or messaging, how is milly by the way? You still with her?

  18. Its only on the Midlands Car Care page that someone has marked me as Spam so only my friends can see the posts and MCC isn't alerted anymore. Yes i was annoyed because i was being ignored but Russ was away from the business as stated. I only messaged Russ personally yesterday to try and get a resolution all other communication was done via Facebook message to MCC page which were being ignored.

I am happy with the outcome now and i won't hold a grudge at all.
