Hello all, the Megane I bought yesterday has a broken front splitter. I'd like to replace it for one thats a direct fit. Is OEM my only option? thanks Mr Spoon
There are a few aftermarket options for splitters on the 3's - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324102391881?hash=item4b76020849:g:Vf0AAOSwTeRea6fE https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383604038046?hash=item595095199e:g:lrAAAOSwHoxe8vcS https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223915610569?hash=item34226911c9:g:wfcAAOSwR6RaF~6G They are all quite similar bar the last one which is more a race skirt style than a lip style.
looking into these, I still need the OEM part replaced. Its £130 inc vat fitted from Renault. I can then decide if I want an alternative splitter to attach to it.
They've been out of stock for ages. Got mind today and was on order since February https://rsmegane.com/threads/holy-grail-finally-arrived.21878/
Theres a japanese company called cobalt, that sell a carbon fibre and gloss black splitter, that replaces the standard splitter and adds abit more.
It's feasible in 15 minutes, could be even shorter by butchering the bumper and those plastic legs thingy that hold everything together Joke apart there's no need to remove the bumper if you have someone helping you as I find two hands were not enough
