With a heavy heart I'm putting my 2010 Megane rs 250 up for sale, but with a little one on the way I need a more sensible car...... for now. Where do I start??? I've owned well over 50 cars now with most of them being performance orientated. I was looking for a driver's car that able to do every day things without the hassle some performance cars give you. After taking a Megane rs for a test drive I knew it was the car for me, I didn't buy that car as it wasn't in the condition I like my cars in, so the hunt started. I was after something with one owner, totally standard so I could start from scratch modifying it and most of all FSH, unfortunately these cars are a bit of a rare gem and don't come up often. After nearly 2 months of searching I found this one, a completely standard 1 owner Megane rs 250 cup, I travelled to Essex and after 3 hours of travelling there she was, amazed by how well the car had been looked after, I took her for a test drive and that was it I had to have her. Got her back home and started to do my thing. Out the box in std form these cars are fantastic, I've had Evo's and Impreza turbos and the handling of this car is on another level. How a front wheel drive car can handle this well is like witch craft, Ive never known a car that loves direct changes like this one. Being the cup model It comes with LSD and up rated suspension. Also comes with the rs monitor, handy system that monitors power, temperaturer, boost, breaking even g force, also in sports mode you can adjust throttle sensitivity. Theres a 0-60 and 1/4 mile timer if that's your thing. I'll list the mods Ive done while I've owned the car, if your in the know you will know I've spent a few ££££ on her, but its only made the car drive even better. Engine Mods Mid box chop Decat Induction kit Airtec front mounted intercooler Remapped by DK Tuning......... done a fantastic job, if you look on their Facebook page you will see it on there. Made just over 320 bhp and 491 nm that's around 360 ft lb on a red hot day last summer. Only ever run on Shell V power. Suspension H&R lowing springs Fitted by Mark Black Renault Midlands Specialist......... this guy is one of the best Renault specialists in the UK, fitted my decat too, top guy. I did fit some 20mm wheel spacers, the car looked really nice but seemed to make the steering have a dead spot so they got removed. Interior The car originally came with cloth trim but after looking for Recaros I gave up and brought a full leather trim interior, I must admit these seat feel so much better than the cloth trim in everyway, they seem so much more supportive. All speakers have been changed as the std ones are no other words shit. All interior lights have been changed for l.e.d.'s. Exterior Debadged Megane sign Black Renault badges front and rear. Black and red Renault rs boot badge. Wing mirrors and rear window stickers..... nothing ott but can be easily removed. Wind deflectors. Brakes New plain rear Brembo discs with brembo pads. Performance Z rated pad up front Dot 5.1 brake fluid. The service history that comes with this car is one of the reasons I brought it, not just over serviced with a stamped service book but every receipt ever spent on her from day one in a separate folder. Just had the cam belt, water pump, dephaser pulley and aux pulley and belt changed so no worries there for a fair few years. Hpi clear 2 owners from new including me Mot is up in March 2020 Mileage is 77800 but will go up as I'm still using it. Even comes with 3 keys. The car wants for nothing and hasn't put a foot wrong in my ownership other than needing a new battery. Nothing like My old supercharged Clio 172 cup lol. Renault definitely upped their game when making these. For a nearly 9 year old car the condition is fantastic, no dents or scrapes, think theres 2 tiny stone chips on the front drivers wing that's it. All wheels are mint with Michelin Pilot Spot 4s upfront and Avon ZZRs on the rear, all tyres have over 5+mm of tread. If your looking for a low owner well looked after Megane rs 250 then look no further. PLEASE NO STUPID OFFERS NO PX I WON'T SHIP OVERSEAS AND I WON'T MEET YOU ON SERVICE STATION OUT IN THE STICKS. AND DEFINITELY NO JOY RIDERS. Ive put the price at a genuine amount compared to others, I'm in no rush to sell and if it doesn't sell I'll carry on enjoying her. Thanks for looking.

Less than 2 weeks so not bad, I thought it was going to be alot longer than that. I saw how badly these cars were selling, was mint and I set it at the right price to get peoples attention, still sad to see it go but its going to a good home.
The good ones still deserve decent money imo. The cheaper ones probably need s lot doing. And people with prices only see the cheaper side. I can be guilty of that lol What's next?
Totally agree with you, the decent ones definitely deserve the money, since I brought the car I've been watching the prices of them and how fast they sell, think I might have timed it just right. I need a people carrier...... I know don't laugh lol, One things for sure I'll get another Megane rs. The guy who brought it off me came in his new BMW M3 and had a Tommy Mac 540bhp evo as his track car but wanted retire his evo as prices were going up on them , to seal the deal and put the cherry on this sale he said he would get the Meg track prepared and we could do Donington park. Ive subscribed to his YouTube channel so I can see her in action.
