I’m selling my 2007/57 RenaultSport Megane R26. The car has covered approx. 96,000 miles, the majority in my ownership being motorway commuting. The car currently does not move as I’ve bought a Golf Diesel to absorb the miles, I don’t have any time to use it as a weekend toy so may as well sell it as it’s too good to be left unused. The car is the Lux model, so has the full leather Recaros and centre armrest, as well as keyless entry. It has never wanted for anything, and has a number of items replaced for genuine items, or upgraded for common items. When I bought the car the front bumper was badly damaged, so was replaced by the garage for a new genuine item. Also replaced under my ownership have been: Genuine Throttle body Genuine OSR calliper Genuine Inner tie rods Genuine Track rods Genuine Track rod ends Genuine door handle sensors Genuine parking sensor Genuine Thermostat All 4 tyres with Michelin PS3, have approx. 5mm left on them. There have been a few modifications carried out in my ownership, these include Genuine R26.R Spoiler Clio 200 Steering Wheel & Airbag Shortshift for the gearbox TFD Poly Steering Rack Bush RS Tuning Remap Forge Motorsport Intercooler (not fitted) The rear quarters have recently been repainted by Renault as they were rough, I have images to show this. The car has a good amount of service history, including cambelt change in 2013, and more recent services by Mark Black including one for replacement clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel, and one for the hub bearings approx. 18 months ago. It has only ever been run on VPower, made sense to get fuel points equalling a free tank every so often! The MOT has 10 months remaining. The price is £5500, this is reflective on the condition of the car, as well as the mileage and amount of work gone into it. Whoever buys this will get a genuinely good honest car, that needs nothing major for a good amount of time. I will take some better pictures this weekend, it's currently awaiting a full valet.
