Sad to say I am now gauging interest for the sale of my R26 in silver, the car has been a huge project over the last year and now coming to its conclusion. Couple of reasons for the reluctant sale which I am happy to explain to a potential buyer in private. The car has had extensive work completed by myself and rather than posting the huge list here it would probably be more beneficial to read through the project thread regarding the engine and car; http://rsmegane.com/threads/big-unos-r26-project-engine-build.15621/ I will be making a full list of modifications and posting this shortly. The car mechanically is almost new, everything from rebuilt forged engine, rebuilt gearbox, big brake kit, coilovers and of course the turbo kit. The car has now covered around 650miles since the rebuild. And has cost me well over 20k. This would be an ideal buy for somebody thinking of taking a Megane to the next level from the hybrid turbo set up. The car does need some cosmetical work doing it is not externally perfect. These can also be listed or explained to a potential buyer. The buyer will also have my full support following the sale. Following configuration last week the car is now developing a peak of 430hp and holding 360ftlb across the upper rev range at only 1.5bar of boost, there is scope for fair increases of upto 500hp with some further changes. I would not suggest this car for a novice driver. Looking for £13k but open to sensible offers. I will be posting a full list of modifications shortly along with photos. It is incredibly long and I need quite a lot of time to check it over.

I know this is a special car..but thats double what top condition R26`s are going for. I hope you get it..you deserve it after all that work!
It is and I do agree, but for anyone thinking of taking a car to this level it could save them ALOT of time and money. And besides I did put open to offers
all credit to you for the work you have put in. its a niche group of people that will understand what a weapon this thing could be on the track. good luck with the sale.
I am sad to see this happening but needs must. The attention to detail is something else, good luck with the sale.
Oh man! If I wern't so deep into my 250 if have this! Doubt you will get a better built car in the UK
I have had a couple of questions about offers that I would accept over the last few days, so may aswell write my expectations here to save people asking. I will be prepared to go down to around £10k but cannot really go any lower as I have spent a lot of money as I am sure can be appreciated. Of course I would like as much as possible but would prefer it to go to an enthusiast here rather than a unknown ricer from ebay I think at that cost it is quite a lot of car.
Now listed on ebay, item number: 123271145028 If anybody is interested or knows anyone who may be please tell them to still contact me here. If you could put the word out for me in any way that would be great! I dont really use social media so unfortunately ebay is the best place for me. Thanks!
Put it on piston heads track day cars and if road legal put it on that section. Then wait for the right buyer. Hold out for 12 plus. I got far more for mine on there than I ever would on fb or here
Not really sure, house probably machinery wise... always wanted a RS250 as a project and perhaps turn it into a track only bike, RS250 Aprilia not the Renault type that is suppose one day I will have to join the MK3 megane club wont I
Always had a soft spot for Aprilia, wish I had got into racing when I was younger, do quite miss the environmentally friendly smell of the two strokes
