Megane MK3 RS250 Armrest removal

Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by Molesyy, Oct 23, 2016.

  1. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Need to remove just the arm rest lid as swapping to leather.

Cannot find any guides or comments about it. Cheers in advance

  2. Your not based near Cambridgeshire are you? if so will remove it for you.

Honestly it's literally just pull really hard there is nothing to break at all. There is to sort of side retainer plastic bits that stick out and literally you yank it to pull past these.

1.) Unclip the back section, really easy to do just pries from the top then pull, 2 small clips and metal retainers hold it, you don't need much force at all.

2.) Then look under the back of arm-rest you'll see 2 small screws undo these.

3.) Open up arm rest, and pull up with 1 fairly hard motion and it'll remove.

4.) Place new arm rest in and it'll clip

5.) Put 2 screws back in

    6.) Reclip the back section

  4. As above. Spot on. Brute force is all that is needed. Plus two screws.

  5. I clocked on as to why I couldnt figure it before I seen this, I was trying the MK2 way where the Torx bits where inside the cubby hole, when I went back out and looked I yanked that back part off and shouted bingo. Cheers Lads
