Megane GT Line TomTom Energy dCi S hand break will not release.

Hi all,


I have the above car and can't get the handbrake off. The RAC have visited and informed me the problem is the actuator needs replacing. I have a garage that can do the job but I can't get the handbrake off to take it there. Various forums and people tell me there should be an emergency release in the boot but I can't find any...


So, good people of the forum, anyone know how I take the break off. I am happy to live without it working for the drive to the garage... Just need it off for a bit.
