Megane 275 white interior lights

  1. Hi everyone

So I want to get rid of the yellow interior bulbs (will also be doing the side lights and number plate bulbs) in my 275 for white ones but I have read quite a few horror stories of people blowing the fuse in the engine bay whilst doing this.

Has anyone got a link to some canbus ones? As I know fitting non canbus can cause this and also any help for if the worst happens?

Really appreciate it (why can't it be as straight forward as my 197 was lol)

You don't need canbus ones. Normal 501 Leds are fine.

Just don't be a spanner when you change them and you wont blow any fuses.

If you do blow a fuse it is either F1 or F2 in the bay, Both 10a fuses.

  3. get ones with resistors otherwise they they can tend to stay on all the time (dimly).

Give Xenons online a shout in the traders section, he does some epic 501's for the interior. Got them in mine.

  5. Thanks for that, least I know where to go now.

I'm normally pretty careful with anything on the car but it's just my luck really.

I had the dim light issue in my clio with the first set of 501s in that, second set no problems.

Will pop over to xenons online bit now.

Is it just 2 or 1 for that price?

  8. Right, I've read the manual and it says how to remove the covers but it simply isn't working for me.
Any help on how to get them off?
Just the ones in the headliner.

Be a bit more forceful, Flat head works well.

  10. Do you just pry it up? because I can pull it forward but I can't pull the back up at all.

  11. Had same thing with mine can't remember what I did other than swear a lot. Pretty sure in the end I got a flat head screwdriver, prised the front clip open then used another to work from the back.

Either way I successfully broke nothing other than my patience several times. If still stuck later I'll take a look at mine and remove the cover and video it for you to show how it's done.

  12. Recently bought some 501 LEDS, replaced all interior bulbs but when it came to sidelights they just wouldn't fit into the lens? Just too fat to fit in the headlight, anyone have a link to a pair of slimmer 501 LEDS?

    Cheers
